What types of locks can you install?

We can upgrade your door or window lock to a 5-lever mortice deadlock that meets the 5-lever British Standard (BS) requirement. These locks are most commonly used on timber doors and resistant to picking or drilling.

We also offer key operated multi-point locking systems which are ideal for UPVC patio doors, offering a high level of security.

Additionally, we can fit rim automatic deadlatches with a key locking handles. These are usually paired with a mortice deadlock, which allows the owner to use a key to access the door from the outside and a latch to open the door from the inside.

What is the difference between a mortise lock and a rim lock?

A mortise lock is a type of lock that is installed in a hole cut into the edge of a door. A rim lock is a type of lock that is installed on the surface of a door. Mortise locks are more secure than rim locks.

Do you offer safe opening services?

Yes, we offer safe opening services. We can open safes of all types, including combination safes and key safes.

What is the difference between a uPVC door lock and a wooden door lock?

A uPVC door lock is generally considered a more secure option than its wooden door counterpart. A couple reasons for this are that uPVC is a strong, durable material that is resistant to breaking and entering and are fitted with high-security locks that are difficult to pick or force open. Also, uPVC locks are resistant to weather conditions, such as rain and wind. This means that they will last longer and require less maintenance than wooden door locks.
